Labconsort's Recycling Programme

Labconsort's equipment recycling and reuse program

At Labconsort, we believe sustainability can transform the scientific community. Our Green Initiative embodies this commitment, providing a platform for companies to donate their used laboratory, medical, and process equipment, as well as medical laboratory kits, clinical kits, and laboratory kits.

Our goal is to ensure that nothing goes to waste. Thanks to the generous support of our partners, this program offers a recycling and reuse service that benefits both the environment and scientific progress.

Step 1: Donate Your Equipment

Start by identifying any surplus, outdated, or no longer needed laboratory equipment, medical kits, clinical kits, or other laboratory supplies. Once you've gathered the details, contact us with the information. Our team will review your submission and follow up to schedule a meeting. Together, we will develop a tailored plan that ensures the donation process runs smoothly. If necessary, we will establish quality standards and create a process manual to ensure everything is handled efficiently and effectively.

Step 2: Comprehensive analysis and inspection
Once we receive your equipment or kits, our expert technicians perform a thorough analysis to determine the best course of action. This process includes evaluating whether some items can be reused or if they need to be broken down and recycled into raw materials. For reusable equipment, we focus on restoring it to optimal working condition, adhering to manufacturer specifications. For items that are beyond repair, we follow the VLAREMA waste streams regulations to ensure responsible recycling, extracting valuable raw materials while minimizing environmental impact.

Step 3: Responsible reuse or recycling
Based on our analysis, refurbished equipment or selected materials are rehomed to laboratories in need, including those in under-resourced regions, educational institutions, and start-ups. This helps reduce waste while making essential scientific tools more accessible. For items that cannot be reused, we ensure that all materials are recycled responsibly in accordance with VLAREMA regulations, contributing to the circular economy and reducing the strain on natural resources.
