Agilent 1260 Prep Pump:
The Agilent 1200 series preparative pump delivers a stable and reproducible flow at both low and high flow rates. By adding a second pump, a high-pressure gradient system can be easily assembled.
Features:
Flow rates up to 100 ml/min at 400 bar without changing pump heads
Precise formation of binary gradients under high pressure with low delay volume for preparative and analytical applications with flow rates as low as 0.5 ml/min
Extended seal life through automated seal washing
Setting upper and lower pressure limits switches the pump off, e.g. if the column is clogged or if leakage occurs
Convenient system configuration by automated solenoid bleed valve
Specifications:
Flow precision: <0.3% RSD in range of 1 ml/min to 100 ml/min
Hydraulic system: double pistons in parallel
Flow range: set points from 0.001 to 100 ml/min, in increments of 0.001 ml/min Recommended: 5 - 100 ml/min
Pressure: Operating range 2 - 40 MPa (20 - 400 bar, 290 - 5880 psi) system pressure
Gradient formation: High pressure with two combined pumps
Delay volume: 700 µL
pH range: 1.0 - 12.5 recommended
Agilent 1260 FC-PS Preparative Scale Fraction Collector
Specifications:
Ttrigger modes: time intervals, peak (threshold, up/downslope),
Timing (combination of time intervals and peak).
Operating modes: Discrete fractions - standard mode for all vessels. Flow is diverted to waste as it moves from one vessel position to the next vessel position.
Fraction capacities: Full tray with 126 test tubes (16 mm OD, max. height 100 mm, ~12 ml/tube)
Installed trays are automatically detected and identified.
Only for vials, test tubes and well plates that have been uncapped!
Maximum tube volume: approx. 45 ml
Maximum flow rate: 100 ml/min (depending on viscosity and generated counterpressure, max. 6 bar at the diverter valve)
Delay volumes [μl]: Inlet from fraction collector to diverter valve: ~500 (typical, depends on hose length), diverter valve: ~15, diverter valve to needle: ~110, needle: ~5
Delay calibration sensor: Single wavelength absorption detector operating at 654 nm, consisting of a LED and a photodiode
Switching valve: 3/2 Switching valve with low internal volume (15 μl), switching time < 100 ms, maximum working pressure 6 bar
